Yesterday our country celebrated womens day with lot of speeches including their political agendas to attract wemen votes.Does it meant that she regained her lost respect? Does it meant that she striped her wounds? Does it meant that she got her shoulder equal to men?
Was all that a day's drama or we really consolate Nirbhaya? All these questions automatically make us to confront the truth hide behind this speeches.
Why a girl find herself uncomfortable to roam outside after 10 in night and that too in the capital of our incredible country. All this is just because of brutal thinking of a male part of our society. We don't let her to have a glorious life just because of her gender difference.
Not only in the modern world,history revealed that we people raised finger over the sanctity of our godess Sita. We unclothed her izzat just to win the game of gamble in Mahabharat.
It past more than a year but Nirbhaya is still fighting for justice. She is still weeping for what she martyred herself a year ago. She got thrilled when she look a five year old girl to become the victim of same incident. She never expected such a brutality from her opponent gender. Our inhuman activity is making her to curse herself as she is finding her lesson to vein in the storm of modernisation.
Even in modern era of fast moving technology,many ladies burn themselves after getting irritation from her family for giving birth to a baby girl. Not only this,many ladies comitted suicide after getting forced by the family for the abortion when find a baby girl in their womb. Many parents advice their daughter not to dress western when going outside. Why we people always put limitations over the flight of a girl only instead of teaching our male child to respect the women,only because of a differance in the gender? Whenever some inhuman activity become the headlines of our news channel,our politicians accused our female side for their western look. Opposition party ministers move to to the home of victims to unpack their consolation prizes. Many of the times a victim move to police station to lodge the comlain get humiliated by the police men. Accused side threatnes the family and filled the pockets of police and lawyer to waive the case.
Our technology made us to go beyond the sky but created some sideeffects in thinking as many of the time we come across the incidents that our daughters are chitted by some anti-social elements of society through social network. It doesn't meant that flying technology is leaving ash only but there is need to change the mindset of our youth.
These anti-socials sometimes stained the image of our country by hunting some foreign tourist girls. There are many cases pending in the indian courts against such accused.
So the conclusion is that by celebrating or distributing sweets on one day can't honour our women. We need to respect them everyday,everytime.
Just one episode of 'Satyamev Jayte,Crime petrol or Savdhan India' can't change the mentality of such people. We need to be strong against such crimes,need to teach our child of such things,need to start some awareness programes. Government should take strong action against so called 'rapiest',courts should make fast decesion as it is not looking in todays fastrack court but this doesn't meant a common man to be violent and take law in their hand. I hope all these will help to empower the strength of a women in our society.
